Dosage technology
Process engineering for Schüttgüter GmbH
In 1982, in Buchholz (Nordheide), the mechanical engineer Eberhard Trautmann founded his planning, consulting and equipment company Verfahrenstechnik für Schüttgüter GmbH. His lengthy experience in the construction of milling facilities and animal feed blending plants, including as head of the technical department of Club Kraftfutterwerke in Hamburg, was the major investment in his firm.
Due to the take over by EB-Industrieanlagen this became our department for planning and system consulting in the field of bulk grain and bulk goods technology. In the aforementioned field the area of dosage and blending is the most important.
In order to replace the liquid dosage by weighing system with his own Trautmann fully committed himself to developing a process for the dosage, measurement and blending of fodder ingredients until the system could be patented. This process has meantime become the main product and is highly successful in its operation. The process is marketed under the name Multidosiersystem-MDS, a well known and proven system.
It contributed towards bringing the accuracy of dosage of liquid additives in blended fodder and other products up to the required standard, and will now be further developed by EB-Industrieanlagen AG.
Multi-dosage system MDS
The concept of the Multi-dosage system combines the bulk measurement of both solids and deployed liquids into an integrated measurement- and control system.
The fundamental feature of this system of measurement is the continual weighing of the solids and individual liquids. In view of the continually changing number, above all of liquid additives, accuracy of dosage must have absolute priority. The solution to this is namely the exact determination of quantities of both substances to be blended.
The Multi-dosage system-MDS does justice to the requirement for high operational reliability. It requires little maintenance and is not sensitive to dust. An annual inspection is normally sufficient. Every single component of the Multi-dosage system-MDS fulfils the highest demands for quality.
